Really Now.

What if I told you I'm worth it.

I have a desire to learn.

I'd do anything just for that shit,

what must I do to earn?

I know that my test scores aren't perfect

my GPA could be improved

yet my silent appeal seems quite worthless

as counselors don't seem to be moved.

Tell me I can beat those numbers,

that I am worth more than my grades

Are my passions meaningless and hopeless,

am I simply deluded, or crazed?

I know for a fact that I'm better

than what paperwork dictates as true

Please rise up and fight this injustice

We're worth a chance, both me and you.
