Reality check

Job 42:1-3 New English Translation (NET Bible)

Job’s Confession

42 Then Job answered the Lord:

“I know that you can do all things;
no purpose of yours can be thwarted;
3 you asked, ‘Who is this who darkens counsel without knowledge?’
But I have declared without understanding
things too wonderful for me to know.

Reality check

Am I a misguided missile fired at a point in time?

And as through the air, I whistle leaving debris of every kind

Was I aimed towards the right direction, but got lost along the way?

Maybe through some slight deflection, I am soaring now astray

There is no way of stopping now only, when I run out of fuel

As then float in space and time in a state of nothing to endure

Who will recover this useless mess? Who will analyze what went wrong?

Will this prepare others for the test as are launched trying to get along?
