Real World Fantasy Princess

I don’t have a crown of gold,

Nor a big sitting thrown.

I don’t have servants waiting,

Nor am I a damsel in the making.

Screw Sleeping Beauty,

Who lost to a pointed needle.

Letting a witch spin fate’s wheel

A magic thread that controls her.

Screw Snow White,

Who lost to an apple.

Letting her ignorance be bliss

Until her stupidity choked her.

Screw Cinderella,

Who lost to time.

Letting it run out the door

While she became something fragile.

I don’t need a kiss to keep me awake,

Nor do I need magic to save me from fate.

I can fight my dragon,

I can fight the witch.

Screw the Disney Princesses,

Because I’m my own Real World Princess Bitch.
