The "more"  I read the bible.

The "more"  I begin to see.

That one day  I will be libel

for what I ought to be.

When I read the scriptures.

Facts of life fly in my face.

Convenient forgotten instructions

and my excuses based on grace

The Word proclaims so clearly

my reasonable service from day to day

and all my excuses show merely

lack of appreciation for the "price" God paid.

Unless the issues of my heart

are directed in God's way

my life will totally fall apart

even if seemingly I get by today
