When I look up to the sky I want to be there,

I want to be with the moon and the stars.

If I can't be there, I want to build something that can.

 

Aerospace engineering is the career for me.

It has opened a door to so many more possibilites.

I love being an aerospace student but many things are in my way.

 

Obstacles are just bumps in the road that I will do anything to get my degree

Being a minority in the aerospace field is a huge obstacle,

As well as paying for the education.

No college degree is cheap, but the lab and material fees are killing me.

 

My family supports me in any way possible

They have always supported my dream of learning about space,

And they brought up the idea of aerospace engineering

 

Building spacecraft is the ultimate job in my eyes,

And I will do anything to get there.

I love telling my story to other people, 

And telling them they can do anything if they just BELIEVE.
