Rapunzel's Battle

Sun, 08/06/2017 - 20:54 -- rheinen

Silly princess,

cried in her ivory tower.

No one was coming to save her

and the only way to be saved

was to save herself.

She found the power to slay the dragon.

She found the power to scale the tower wall.

She found the power to swim through the moat.

She found the power to fight your way through the jungle.

And when she got home,

her dress long gone

her hair a mess of leaves

blood and sweat,

dripping from her body

She didn’t have to find the power to rule her kingdom,

because she already had it.
