The Rainy Eyes

A cold dark rainy night,

It poured, not from the clouds,

But from her eyes!

The loud silent screams in her head

and her tearful shimmering eyes

under a small flickering white lamp

made all those thunder and lightning

outside the window

question their identity!

Her heart out tears

always extends to her throat,

choking it hard to breath!

The parallel phenomenon

souvenirs her that,

she is the loop of releasing the stress

and imprisoning the guilt,

within her at the same time.

The eye blink happened

to drop down her tears

pleaded her to rest her lids

for a second more,

She never goes out of

her tissue box

as she has her

favourite violet coloured pillow covers

adoring three fluffy pillows!

She didn’t wipe her tear out

instead she made sure to

carefully drive the tear to the pillow

sliding  her red pimpled cheek

because she at least wanted her pillows

to know the

heaviness of her tears

and the depth of her feelings

The bedroom door creaked open,

Suddenly she faked her sleep

under the bed sheet to her mother,

while she failed to realise that he

faked the whole himself to her

in the name of love.
