Across the window pane

Drops falling fast

Whispering silent secrets

Casting shadows of the past

Some may see sadness

And cry their own tears

Cascade down crimson cheeks

Admitting their fears

The coldness of the water

Cast down from the sky

The beautiful silhouette

Makes one want to cry

The beauty bright

Of the enchanting rain

It sings a muted song

That only causes pain

A soft simple melody

A mysterious blind show

A harmonious sound

Echoing the glow

Fading away like shadows

The music shall cease

The rain, only a memory

Of secret, silent release
