Rain

Rain,

The rivers of water rushing down my umbrella,

The icy hand of the wind hitting my face,

The sound of war within the clouds, ringing in my ears,

The slip slapping of my rain boots on the sidewalk pavement,

A day of love and radiance, now having become pure sorrow,

Now here I am, standing in the rain, wishing I had stood there,

Home,

That's right,

That's a place that no longer truly exists for me,

So now all I can do is wander in the sky's tears,

Wishing I knew my purpose in life,

Wihsing my past were only a nightmare I could wake up from,

And then suddenly a beam of light stroke, it reached my eyes,

Sun radiates my cheeks,

And the world underwent an amazing transformation,

Free spirits soaring through the sky, singing their songs,

Cooing in the wind, and warm breezes renewing life,

I took this as a sign,

A new day begins, and yesterday's worries are nevermore.
