Ragnarok 2200

The God’s have fallen from their throne overhead Earth’s shallow winds

They told us a myth called “Hiroshima” during our younger years

I thought it impossible for the sky to appear as an endless void

Until the past world I knew no longer existed

The blinds of sanity’s window closed off most of our future

The contrasting world’s transitioned between instantly

The blue sky converted to a white abyss

Then it became a blackened scrap of metal and hatred

No flags of nationalisic wholeness exist any longer

Nothing beyond this wasteland has been seen

Odin and Fenrir had their final battle

And we lost

This poem is about:
Our world
