Raging Seas

Fri, 09/08/2017 - 21:23 -- amgray5

"The waves crash,
Into my fragile walls.
Howling wind,
Scatters broken thoughts.
A once calm sea,
Rages through the night.
I fall,
Sink,
Into the waves.
The only sound,
Is the stutter
Of my bodies broken grammar.
You saw me drowning,
I was beautifully flawed
And wonderfully destroyed.
You dove in,
Chasing the dream,
That tethered us together.
You were the life raft,
Keeping me afloat.
I feel for the honesty,
shining through your eyes.
Because I love you my darling,
I have found my sweet and peaceful release."
