Radiance

Sometimes the stars align

just right

To make a single point of brillaince

so intense it leaves

a spot in your vision

that lingers every time you blink

And it's almost an image of the real thing.

Almost for a second you

can see it's pulsing light again

But not quite.

They tell you to look for it again

tomorrow night in the sparkling sky

But you've already got

your space suit on.
