Quiet Quiet
Quiet Quiet,
I want peace and quiet.
I want to be able to hear the crickets conduct their symphony;
I want to be able to see the Moon shine blissfully;
I want the Moon to lighten the darkened sky,;
I want the Moon to be my soothing guide;
As I fall to sleep.
I want to listen to the late night dancers tap my window;
I want to lay my head on this fluffy pillow;
I want to block out the snoring;
I want to lie down, close my eyes, and let my mind do the exploring;
As I fall to sleep.
As I drift off into the unconscious-deep.
Quiet Quiet,
I want peace and quiet.
