A quick thoracotomy

Mon, 11/11/2024 - 23:07 -- tokii

I open my chest to the forest of bones

Pulsing vines, foliage thick and wending

Up the bowing rows of white

How long 'til I find its center

The beating mass where answers lie hewn in the muscle

Fiber throne seated in the chambered marrow

When all I seek is exhaled from the cavity

As the forest bends on itself, entombed once more
