Questions to the Stars

Twinkle twinkle, little star,

How I envy you, up so far.

I wish I could speak like the stars do.

I wish I could sparkle,

shine light like you.

Sometimes I wonder where you go

when I see the sun's early morning glow.

Is it where the dreams go when we wake?

Into a celestial land and a clear calm lake.

Into another world I cannot reach,

that no human has ever been able to breach.

Inside the wormhole, outside of space

To a different dimension in which I would feel out of place.

Twinkle twinkle, little star

up so far. . .

Where do our dreams go late at night?

Tell me quick! Before daylight.
