I dream a dream within a dream,
Where the crystal ball entwines,
Worshipers, baby kissers,
Ballerina zoo chasers,
So regal, like fine aged wine.

But the zoo chasers did gallop freely
Like brilliant fire upon the brow
With their guns and bows
And explosive arrows
Doth chased me round and round.

So I followed the chasers down the road,
In a mountain deep and supplying,
And way down far,
Behind prison bars,
The wilted willows were sighing.

And the demons turned their heads towards me,
Their eyes as black as silence,
Then the mountain screamed,
As the fire raised steam,
And was freedom fettered by violence.

So I called your name down deep,
In the mountain where snakes were sleeping,
Silence echoed back to me,
Silence echoed back to me,
And the black birds lay there weeping.
