But what they chase will never satisfy because to get what they want

They're running chasing reaching

but never grasping

they get what they want

but it's never lasting.

 

They call it the Pursuit of Happiness,

 

not knowing what they're chasing is a big crappy mess.

The things they want are oh so temporary

and nothing they have now will go with them to the cemetery.

 

And some people say you've got one life

live it today

but they really forgot that there's always a tomorrow!

They refuse to acknowledge that this life is borrowed

like no wonder all the hearts are filled with sorrow.

 

We've got this yolo mindset so we go and waste our minds...
