The Puppet

The Master comes out, manipulating,

No longer will I charade in his play

The years gone by with his mind controlling

No longer will I be his puppet prey.

Freedom wave in front of me, yet to stay.

Emotions disguised,  through years, on my face.

Battling the confinement of my stray

All I can do is attempt to embrace,

The life that by no means has any trace.

Until the day I set out on my own,

Strings are still pulled to try to form my place,

Although I try, do overcome the throne,

In the midst of the show I no longer

A puppet but stand so much more stronger.
