The Process of Writing

Location

It is about that time for Baby Blue Jay to fly, Trapped in her nest she’s afraid to try.She tries to escape to begin her journey,So she may no longer be called the little birdie.Baby Blue begins to flap her wings in hopes to soar,But she falls on her beak and tries once more.Stuck to ground gravity won’t let her leave,She realizes that she just has to believe. She flaps her wings this one last tryAnd seconds later she begins to fly.Although lift off is a rocky start, She’s glad to set herself and the nest apart.Soaring through the clouds she worries no moreAs her wings flow fast flying above the shore. She slowly begins to grow weary and slows her paceA gust of wind has rushed her face.No longer on her path she is whisked away, Taken from here to there unable to see her way.She finds herself spiraling back to the ground,Ending her journey where she was first found. She crashes to the gravel with not the best landingAnd she finishes off barely standing.Back to her nest limping and sore,To prepare herself for another journey once more.
