The Problem With Projects
Location
August twenty-first,
Another school year to begin.
More papers,
More homework,
More projects,
More deadlines to be met,
What I'd really like to see is how one can forget.
Constant reminders in ringing ears,
And then the day comes,
The final project nears.
We worry,
We stress,
We get all worked up,
Only to feel that its never enough.
After all the hard work the applause is so slight;
It makes you feel weak after so much plight.
What needs to be done is more pep to be present.
More congratulations,
And good jobs,
And claps,
For your work to be worth more,
Than one simple score.
To feel truly appreciated is so much more,
Make our effort be worth more than a score.
