Privilege

What is the life of another boy worth?

Should I question the importance of why,

We suffer more loss on this planet called Earth?

A brown skinned boy with ambitions to fly.

They told him to be careful in these streets.

Streets of America, "land of the free."

Bobbin' down the block, no armor but beats.

Searching for answers or something to be.

Walkin' home from classes such as science.

Can love for him come form the universe?

Did you expect to hear about violence?

They say the mind contols the universe.

Let's just imagine a better outcome,

One where this black boy braves and overcomes.
