Prioritize

Matthew 6:33 New English Translation (NET Bible)33 But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  Time

If time is the only thing we have

why are priorities so mixed up?

Inattention to time is oft-ignored

until death removes the empty cup.

Are time and life just the same

and death cannot touch it?

Until in Christ, I am redeemed

and Eternal starts to crush it?

Time is short the day is near

the end of time as we know it.

So hiding behind what I think

is this the way I want to show it?

Is my love in Christ and His Grace

satisfaction in counting my blessings?

Without hunger for righteousness

the desire to transform is missing.

To be like Christ should be a hunger,

and unquenchable thirst and desire,

that time and "life" are lost forever

through "the Son's" cleansing fire.
