Pride and Irony

This was the year we fell to pieces.
Ironically, this was also the year
when the other scrambled to put me back together again.
As they would tried, brain buzzing and fried,
They didn't know he was smiling his face off - no pun intended
"Oh, Where did they go" yelled the son, "Oh where did YOU go"
Yelled the crowd that was on the run,
Ground control, ground control! Brace for combat,
We found a hole in your plot, and it's name is Conrad,
When we sound the movement, nobody shall abuse it,
A river will flow through it, until we're made of fluids!
My mother's name is Irony, and my name is Pride.
The hunger rumbles on when my stomach is full inside,
The choices I've chosen to choose scared me
temporarily, impairing me and daring to trade a parable
From a probably. It sure is an oddity, this thing called pride,
The day I walk off the earth is when the sun has died.

I really like how you personify Pride and Irony in this poem, because turning these elements into people makes your poem even more relatable! You write about who you are in this poem, and what you think is important in life- you might enjoy writing an ode poem, which is about one specific thing you think is special.
