Prayer

Prayer

“Let my life be a prayer to you”, seems a glimpse of purpose.

Mostly our aim seems to be ... to get our own desires fulfilled.

God’s Will gets lost on our flesh in its search for satisfaction

and to do God’s Will our way ... and so to live in our “own will”.

Ephesians 6:18

18 With every prayer and petition, pray at all times in the Spirit, and to this end be alert, with all perseverance and requests for all the saints.

Prayer has its own source in God ... it rests on what God wants.

It is not for me to figure out ... but accept that as a fact.

God gives us the utterance to pray ... to preach and to teach

and if you see a difference ... there still must be great lack.

Why do we always ask ... for what we want today?

Why do we always want to know what appears to us?

Why do we always think ... that prayer’s origination

rests with us in person and call that blessedness?

1 Corinthians 14:15

15 What should I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind. I will sing praises with my spirit, but I will also sing praises with my mind.

From God, the Father we receive what we need to pray for.

To understand this need ... we need the mind of Christ.

Transformed then to His Purpose and not to our own thoughts

we through God’s revelation should lean on His power and might.

Romans 8:26

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groaning.

Holy Spirit teach us simply how to pray

according to instructions which originate in God.

Help us through obedience to clearly see the Way

that Jesus has paved for us leading through our plot.

To pray with Him in Spirit ... we must first walk with Him

so our spiritual condition ... can truly magnify.

Our daily walk and position can be a disconnect

and interfere in our prayer life and so disqualify.
