Power Poetry

Location

There are wonders in this little world that apply

to the lifestyle of an endangered oblige

although we submerge beneath it all

as a water cascades upon its fall

and the life of a tree slowly escapes,

to an enormous mountain of snow that delayed.

A loved one can be caught in the cold,

or a crime scene of another

and a laugh of a mother

we look upon our merry ways and dread our past-

a depression decay.

I know we strive, we strive for each other

to know how we work and derive something worse.

We look back, we look forward, we look in and out-

to figure out what we have faintly discovered.
