Potential Contentment

Life, to me, is a haphazard of things

lessons will be learned

tables will have turned

and then we're all stuck in an unhappy reality.

The next day will involve the following:

everything you didn't want. the same. the expected.

Gratitude is long forgotten,

and the mask you where becomes sodden

with the liquid of society.

A society that whispers, "you are not enough,

i'll even show you why."

And we'll all believe it. Though it is a lie.

However, there is a little something in everyone

that is stronger than the feeble attempts to break our will

to believe in ourselves and let our hearts be filled;

with the fact that everyone

everything

just may be awesome.

Next time a problem arises, just think that it's all relative.

There are things in life that are good.

Like cellos and music and self-actualization.

Awesomeness is sprinkled in little holes throughout the world.

Like geocaching, you'll just have to go and find them.
