What is a body but from dust is flesh?
'Tis purposeful to carry every soul,
O'er life we sail, traverse with burdens set,
[This skeleton!] This ship! The cracks are felt from deck to hull.
Onward the bow points to the setting sun.
Indeed forgotten any compass brought,
And some will say the past is said and done,
To guide them out and through each stormy thought.
But ocean deep is filled with our mistakes!
Friend, learn from them and leave them in your wake.
At night we all throw anchors to the stars.
Oh why do we forget this life is ours?
So live and dream until you find your coast,
And bring along the ones you love the most.
