Poetry: A New Hope
Location
Through life of worry and uneasiness,
Delightful dealings divulge disarming doubts.
But writing poems melts my life's mess,
And slows down the mental fast-moving train.
My mind travels to many wonderful places.
Desires for expeditions of flying,
Knowing I could risk at many paces,
And change the entire world with one try.
Facing a day when I quit my pen,
Leaves imagination at the front door.
To drive down the highway of life I spent,
Of true harms my mind knows and nothing more.
For writing on paper of nothing real,
Can reflect on how I honestly feel.
