I am a poet

No one particularly special

But someone with a love for words

I am a poet

I write not too many words,

For each of my works,

But the meaning of a single line is worth more than a lifetime

I am a poet

I write because I love to write

Not because I am forced

Not because I want anything from it

I am a poet 

A poet because I love to express my ideas

In my own creative way 

A poet because I can change someone’s life through a single line

A poet because that’s what I was born to be

Definitely not my best work, just a little something a wrote to be unique when I was applying for a special program for school.
