A Poem For Him

There is another boy with blue eyes

but his were darker and full of surprise

he fell in love with the girl who had a wild heart.

he took on the task to be her guardian angel

and tried to save her from all the danger

he wanted to mend her broken pieces

but little did he know that a girl's heart

was designed to stay torn apart.

he brought a calming shelter

and wanted to protect her

especially when she was home

and told him how she felt so alone.

even though she gave him hell

he still thought that

she was a story worth to tell

she beat his heart purple

and beat his soul blue

but he still managed to tell her "I love you."

he was different and brought a new muse in her life

he made her feel alive again but it was only temporarily

before she resulted back to her bed and knife.

he cringed when he learned about her scars

then kissed her wrists and watched the stars

he found her in them, as if she lived among them

because to him she was like his sky

pretty to look at, but too far to have.

He rebuilt who she was

turning her into something more beautiful

he gave her confidence

and redefined the way she lived

he molded her into a better masterpiece.

the saddest song is when a creator

doesn't receive  credit for there own art

and everything that they give.

I'm sorry that you had to receive this later

but here is a poem thanking one of

the boys, who helped push me to live.

because yes, there once was another boy with blue eyes

but his were darker and full of surprise

he fell in love with the girl who had a wild heart

but she sadly tore his own apart.
