Playing the Playmaker

Sat, 05/27/2017 - 13:55 -- JLozada

Society is cruelty,

Many are never heard.

We're driven to insanity,

Without saying a word.

Some are strong and bold,

Others meek and small.

We get locked in a mold,

All is said, look out for the fall.

We hold our voices,

To make them proud.

But even our choices,

Make their voices loud.

So who we are isn't us,

We're part of a playmaker's plan

To grind us to dust.

The only way around, play again.

Society is playing a game,

To test our limits and strenghts,

And to see if we truly are the same.

Or are we the subject of ridicule.

We all have a spark,

Even in the deepest dark,

That makes us different from everyone.

And that spark is what makes us live on.

When the world turns against you,

Don't turn against or with it,

Fight the truth behind you.

And show that society is cruel...

But they will never find your spark!

We all play the playmaker's game.

We lose every time, but even so

They let their guard down.

That is when we decide, we decide how we

Play the playmaker.
