The Plan

Mon, 05/19/2014 - 17:12 -- AJay

China, China, Land of Silk

Maker of all my clothes,

Has doomed the lives of their people

With the law they've imposed

Their population growth

Is faster than their crops'

So, because of this,

Big families were stopped

Only one or maybe two

Were permitted in a clan

They thought they were fine

But things got out of hand

Daughters in orphanages

Daughters in the streets

Daughters pushed into water

Daughters packaged like meat

The sons were kept

The daughters tossed

They thought men wer better

But it's not the daughters' fault

Men determine the sex

Men deliver half

Not the women

Who've been disowned on man's behalf

Now kidnapping and ransom

Violence to be untold

The Chinese work to get better

So we'll see how this unfolds
