The Place of You

I could search for a thousand years,

but I know this much is true.

Never would I find someone,

to take the place of you.

You are my morning sunshine,

my heart, my love, my life.

Forever I will bless the day,

that you became my wife.

Whenever I feel lonely,

when skies are dark and gray.

Your smile, your love, your tender touch,

can brighten up my day.

Riches to me mean nothing,

as long as I have your love.

For I know you are an angel,

sent from heaven up above.

So I could search for a thousand years,

but I know this much is true.

No one else in all this world,

could take the place of you.
