A Place of Hope

Location

In a distant land, from where I was raised

Where I grew up and where I had played.

I had never dreamed, that I would find

In a different place, a home from inside.

So many new faces! The handshake I know.

Dumela! Likai? Kitang? I don't know.

Thamaga to Manyana, what a road we must take.

A multitude of blessings to a place of hope.

A row of trees, an illusion it can be.

A face with a smile, it's true. Can't you see?

In the midst of almost nothing, a seed can sprout.

Joy like the sunshine, rains on this drout.

So many new faces! The handshake I know.

Dumela! Likai? Kitang? I don't know.

Thamaga to Manyana, what a road we must take.

A multitude of blessings to a place of hope.
