The Pertaining of Life

Life always takes its own toll-- ticking away at the hand of the clock,
The minutes, the seconds all priceless; and all so easily gone.
We rise up only to fall back down, we get up only to be ambushed and smothered down,
How can this be so! How is this behavior tolerated!
Grinded to our very own dust, swept around as insignificant beings, blown around here and about..
Our lifes pertain not to us, but to the Almighty himself.
Who are we to decide on behalf of him, as much as to obliterate our lifes.
Is the desire of death sronger than your will to live?-- Are you so selfish as to not think of the excrutiating pain you impose on those who love you?
Listen not to what they say and do onto you, move on and carry on-- for life is a gift from above.
Belong not to anyone else but yourself--
Because NO ONE! Absolutely no one! Can dictate or mandate the toll that your life will take.
