Mon, 03/09/2015 - 17:42 -- Mumbles
In the palm of my hand
Is a grain of sand
One of hundreds
Of thousands
Of millions
Of grains
It lives with its kin under the sun
And washes away in the rain
In the vast, milky sky
There is a single star
One of hundreds
Of thousands
Of millions
Of stars
It lives under a blanket of void
And drowns in a sea of tar
If I take the grain from my palm
And place it over the star
A door to heaven will be shut
As I've concealed its scar
In my hand there lies
One tiny piece of sky
One hundredth
One thousandth
One millionth
Of sky
