perspective

Location

A dark room. I lie alone.
Non-existent until this moment.
Darkness blinds my open eyes.
To me, my world is what I see.

I flip over. I turn around.
A ray of light comes in sight.
I'm blind to the darkness around me.
To me, my world is what I see.

I drag my knees across the floor.
In want of getting closer.
A square window, a patch of clouds.
To me, my world is what I see.

I stand up to look through it.
A sky, a field, a house, trees.
A new picture etched in my memory.
To me, my world is what I see.

Tall enough to climb through
A portal to a different reality
Always present yet new to me
To me, my world is what I see.

One planet. Many worlds.
Their own windows and spheres.
One look through my square window
And you will see the world I see.
