Perplexing light

Deuteronomy 15:7

The Spirit of Liberality

If a fellow Israelite from one of your villages in the land that the Lord your God is giving you should be poor,

you must not harden your heart or be insensitive to his impoverished condition.

Perplexed

Son-shine galore … perplexing light

dark glasses are the answer

By every door … imprinted rights

selfishness not confessing

Always alone … with someone by your side

tears washing away the blessing

Now then to moan … searching for a fight

a life now left in second guessing

Dry to the bone … hanging on tight

lost is the time for the resting

Comfort’s syndrome … always in sight

mostly misery expressing
