Perimeter

Galatians 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Perimeter

To give a simple compliment ... breaks a smile in Glory

But to criticize a little ... shows deepening flaws indeed

Foundations of true feelings ... are then brought to the surface

And character trades once hidden ... appear with lightning speed

Why do we change the baseline ... of our “self-chosen” emotions?

Why do we enjoy sunshine ... and then let it on others rain?

Why do we give that power ... to another for the taking?

Why give up control ... for someone else’s gain?

Can we control the baseline and the height of our emotions?

Is it in our hands to choose ... and select our trades?

Or is it our “humanity” ... that Satan is used to playing

like an instrument out of sync ... to muddy up our slate?
