Perfectly Imperfect

What's perfection,

without a little imperfection?

To the outside

the US is a safe haven,

a home,

a melting pot,

but inside we see the flaws.

The discrimination,

the hate,

the violence.

Our nation needs to be more open,

to those who are not like us.

WE are all human,

and we all have our flaws.

So we need to evaluate ourselves,

before casting stones on others.

Our nation is a great place,

compared to some,

but we can always work to improve

the hate within.
