Perfect love
In the dark, my soul in dread
Despair in the unknowns ahead
My heart races and I don't know why
But all I want to do is cry.
A lost friend, a lost love
A lost life behind,
My thighs, my scars
Make me lose my mind
Then Mother most blessed,
The strongest of women,
Reminding me I'm Your beautiful image.
Every day I spent with you
Decades of beads
I counted them through
I'm broken
I'm wounded
Life's made me black... and blue.
But through it all
I've been made new.
In perfect love
You cast out my fear
Fear to live, fear to love
Are gone when You're here.
