Perfect Imperfection

My face is a little too round,

And my chin could lose a pound.

It’s just another perfect imperfection.

My left eye is bigger than my right,

And neither adjusts very well at night.

It’s just another perfect imperfection.

I have blemishes all over my face,

And my lopsided smile lacks grace.

It’s just another perfect imperfection.

Awkward situations define my life,

But I think it’s worth all of the strife.

It’s just another perfect imperfection.

Sometimes I have to put life on pause,

To realize that I don’t consider these flaws.

It’s just another perfect imperfection.
