Peace With Us

It's a slippery slope

If you trip, it's hard to get back up

Clawing climbing fighting

I cannot fall

I cannot slip

It is not an unknown

It is not a mystery

I know what lies below

I know I cannot misstep

I cannot look away from the edge

For when I do

I fear I may fall

Never to again reach the top

Here are blue skies

Flowers and pleasant chirping

The sound of the wind, a soothing voice

Drawing me closer to the earth at the top

I stop, take rest

And look down at the abyss

Wondering how I ever got out

Then someone sits beside me

I was unaware of another,

Believing I was in soitude

He does not speak, He does not have to

I feel the peace with me

He needed on show Himself
