Past

Though the door was shut,

All is remembered,

The past cannot be forgotten,

Every little detail,

Stored away and locked,

But once the door is opened,

When all collapses,

All is revealed,

Books covered in tears,

As the stories are reread,

The smallest memory,

Triggers heavy showers,

Dreams blown away into darkness,

And only to be remembered,

When the past is forgotten.
