The Passion of Others

Mon, 02/03/2020 - 21:29 -- CA4295

From the moment I wake up

To the time I lay down

My day goes about

Observing all around town

The people I pass

From streets and through lanes

Their passion they put forth

And their focus on the gains

From the teacher who lectures

To the performers who dances

From the doctors who heals

And to those who takes chances

No matter the agony

The sweat, tears, and blood

They strive to go forward

Despite the slip in the mud

They put all their all

In the work that they do

And that’s what gives me hope

To do so too

And one day I hope

To find a purpose like theirs

To inspire others

With motivating flares

Maybe that day will come

When one day I will show

But for now I will keep observing

And go with the flow
