Passion Depleting

My love for the game isn’t as strong

Although it used to be my everything

It’s a place that I feel like I belong

And I know I will miss it every spring

I still get excited about each softball season

Every loss and win play's with my emotions

But I can say that the family is the reason

For my forever lasting devotions

My last time is coming quickly this year

I will cherish each moment and smile

For at the end I know will be tears

This is the year that will be worthwhile

This is the last season of my career

These memories and friends will be most dear
