Partial

1 Corinthians 13:9-10

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part,

10 but when what is perfect comes, the partial will be set aside.

Partial.

To be part of the future and

not being able to forget the past.

Driven by mind's own illusions like

that one has a chance to last.

Words on words and lay a foundation

but what to build on words alone?

Just like quicksand in creation that

won't support the lightest clone.

The human tongue is the representation

for what will be in future near.

Lost in its own degradation

shouting loud: "Nothing to fear".

Fooling self and others with it

never learned from the past.

Future lost: "Just forget it"

even today is made of gas.

Feather light with not much substance

will keep you warm when aflame.

But not lighted in a for instance

brings quick death ... what a shame.

First the words … then some deeds

kind of creepy ... fallen aside.

Shed the deeds … just words in need

speak reality … but seldom right.
