A Parasite

A parasite, a thousand hosts;
 Even on the brightest days, I hurt the things I love the most;
 Suicide heart, but a thoughtful mind;
 My glass case shatters, and splinters inside;
 Outside is stuff, all the things that I love;
 But inside is shattered, splintering shards from above;
