Life is a paperback book waiting to be read, thoughts about it swimming in our heads
Before we take the time to read the pages of books all types, sizes, and ages.
Big or little thick or thin, our life stories are held within.
Do not judge a book, you know nothing about, for inside those pages is a story waiting to be let out.
The pages of my book are slightly torn, and the binding fragile and worn. But don't think you know me at first glance, read my paperback book, and lend me a chance.

This is an amazing poem. I am intrigued by how you decided to use a paperback book which has been worn and used as a metaphor for your life. You took this comparison way beyond the classic saying "do not judge a book by its cover." You are a great writer- keep it up!
