Paper Plane

Sun, 08/16/2015 - 20:35 -- Sylis
I've made a tiny paper plane
It's crumpled and doesn't fly well
But it's my gift to you
It's unbalanced and lopsided
And can't loopdy loop
All it does is spin and twirls
Before crashing with a poof
But it's my gift to you
Open it up and see within
All my hopes and dreams and sins
The good and bad and in between
In tiny letters, from end to end
But it's my gift to you
Carry it with you always
And hold it dear to your heart
Carry it gentle and carefully though
Lest it falls apart
I've made a tiny paper plane
I've made it all for you
And if you keep it safe and true
I promise I'll be back soon.
